Created using an all-fabric batik wax drawing technique and hand-dyed, the works feature overlapping lines and figures that are layered and combine multiple points of view to reflect a diverse range of emotional states occurring simultaneously. The canvases capture the trace of creative performance, hand movements and the artist's own mental landscape. Through the use of different fabrics, shapes and colors, the artist explores the relationship between the very properties of materials and how when juxtaposed, they can form a dynamic, unique visual language.
