Rade Tepavčević was born in Vrbas in 1994. He completed his basic and master's studies in painting at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, and is currently attending doctoral studies at the same faculty. Since 2017 he has been actively exhibiting at numerous group and solo exhibitions in the country and abroad. In addition to painting, he is engaged in illustration and design. Since 2018, he has been employed as a professional associate at the Department of Drawing at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad.

The artistic expression is accompanied by various painting procedures - from expressive to reduced, over azure and pasty. He gets the desired immediacy by constantly copying, collaging and combining painting techniques. The need to explore the relationship between animals and humans is illustrated through the motif of the dog, which has been the main protagonist of the paintings until now. The influence of the time in which we live, whose main characteristics are the absence of understanding, emotions and empathy, is also reflected on man, who has become the bearer of his time. He, like a mirror, reflects his complexes and shortcomings on the dog and thus creates a completely new effect where the dog becomes a reflection of man. Trying to embrace a wide range of everyday situations through humor and artistic poetics, he brings his observations closer to the observer.
